Secret #005 || Moisture is a factor, softness is need || Art Naturals Argan Oil Hair Mask

Argan Oil Hair Mask

Purchased on Amazon

Whether your hair is fine or thick, curly, wavy or straight - this product is great for your hair. It's winter time, and for me, that means dryness and a whole lot of frizz.

I'm in that stage where I'm still transitioning, but still natural and I have a few strands in my head that wouldn't curl up for anything.

However, when I applied this product on freshly shampooed hair (I never shampoo my hair unless absolutely necessary. Co-wash is the way for me) and let it sit for about 10 - 15 minutes.

I just didn't think the 5-7 suggested minutes were going to cut it for my hair, so I prolonged it. I detangled as usually, and let me tell you, it felt like that comb glided through my hair.

After waiting for 10-15 minutes and detangling, I proceeded to wash my hair out.

I'm telling you guys my hair was super moisturized - but not soft. When softness comes into the factor, it just did not apply to my hair after rinsing this out. I see everyone raving about softness and I'm just like... Can I get that too? Overall, I really like this product, but I do wish it gave me the softness that some other acquired.

Secret #002 || Oil, Oil, Oil | Jojoba Oil

JoJoba Oil by Art Naturals

Purchased on Amazon

I'm all for moisturized hair, and this oil does just that. Jojoba oil has many great hair benefits, and it can be used as a natural conditioner.
I love this oil not only because it's not too thick, but it has a minimal smell to it. It's very easy to apply with the dropper, and it's lightweight.
I used this oil mainly for hot oil treatments, so I just mix this with any essential oil, such as peppermint or tea tree. For the makeup removal, I just put a little on a cotton ball, add a little water and remove. For conditioning, I just put a few drops in my favorite conditioner, and same goes for shampooing. Of course, I sometimes just put it on my hair after shampoo for a base condition, then wash it out. Be careful with the drops, because too much will cause your hair to become greasy looking.
